Financial Analyst

We are recruiting an experienced Financial Analyst to lead financial operations for a growing organization in the Columbus metro area. In this highly visible role you’ll partner directly with the client’s leadership team to drive financial performance, strengthen processes, and help build a great place to work.

You’ll oversee core accounting operations, cash flow and banking relationships, payroll, and key human resources initiatives while leading a small, collaborative team. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands‑on leader who enjoys both rolling up their sleeves and acting as a strategic advisor.

• Oversee all plant‑level financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Partner with plant leadership to evaluate manufacturing performance, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and improve profitability.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct detailed analysis of production costs, inventory levels, labor, and material consumption.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes for the facility.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Assess operational and financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Develop, mentor, and lead plant accounting and finance staff.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to support operational decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Prior manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and operational finance.
• Experience with ERP systems required;
  Infor Syteline experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
