Job Description
As a Vice President in Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgement to solve real‑world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities.
Responsibilities- Drive portfolio analytics initiatives, including segmentation, high‑quality insight generation and control enhancements.
- Collaborate with data partners to ensure data quality and effective change control.
- Contribute to process improvements and the development of robust controls.
- Support ad‑hoc management requests and urgent analyses as needed.
- Analyze model results and assist in explaining results.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Risk, Modeling and Controller teams to improve processes, analysis, insights, and reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders through regular one‑on‑one meetings, bringing agenda topics and following up on action items to maintain strong relationships.
- Actively seek and respond to feedback, promoting an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to generate actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.
- Possess good judgment with the demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in risk analytics, portfolio management, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Strong background in analytics, with experience in tools such as SQL, SAS, or Python, and a demonstrated ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable recommendations.
- Experience leading people, work streams or projects.
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
