About the RoleJob Title:
Settlements Operations Program Manager
- Detail-oriented Settlements Operations Program Manager to support critical settlement and payment operations within a highly regulated financial services environment.
- Manage high-risk operational processes, ensuring transaction accuracy, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting daily banking operations.
- Support daily settlements and payment operations activities.
- Process, review, and approve Fedwire transactions accurately and within established timelines.
- Perform reconciliations, balancing, and DCI balancing activities to ensure operational accuracy.
- Manage miscellaneous credits and payment-related transactions.
- Process and monitor liens, levies, garnishments, and court-ordered account holds.
- Support check processing, invoicing, remittance, and related operational functions.
- Generate, review, and analyze operational reports to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Execute high-risk manual processes with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve process efficiency.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.
- Experience in Payments, Settlements, Banking Operations, or a related financial services environment.
- Working knowledge of Fedwire processing and settlement operations.
- Experience handling garnishments, liens, levies, or similar legal account restrictions is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and/or G Sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Experience supporting regulated financial operations.
- Familiarity with reconciliation, balancing, and payment processing workflows.
- Understanding of banking compliance, operational risk, and internal controls.
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000–95,000 annually (or $50.00–$54.00 per hour), influenced by geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
