Summary:
The Card Product Manager II executes card product strategies to drive new account acquisition and optimize portfolio performance to drive account activation, usage, balance growth, and retention.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of card products with multiple tasks/products assigned.
- Support management in building business cases to address risks and opportunities and manage solution implementation aimed at increasing spend, balance growth, revenue, and profitability.
- Monitor day‑to‑day KPIs, identify trends and patterns, and elevate issues to management as appropriate.
- Lead coordination of all interested parties (IT, Phone Bank, Credit Administration, Enterprise Risk, Operations, Retail Branches, Underwriting, Collections, Legal, Compliance, Vendors) to ensure effective implementation and understanding across the bank.
- Implement effective controls and processes to measure, monitor, and control risks and ensure compliance requirements are adhered to on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure staff is properly trained, provided with appropriate resources, and motivated to adhere to risk management principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of related experience, or a High School Diploma/equivalent with 4 additional years of credit‑card related oversight experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on process.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with financial products.
- Ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for financial institutions and products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Exempt Status:
Not eligible for overtime pay.
Workplace Type:
Office (some positions may offer flexible work arrangements).
