FHA Mortgage Originations Specialist

Employment Type: Full Time, Entry Level

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries from the mortgage lending sector and the public regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.
• Utilize your mortgage industry expertise to find answers in our knowledge database to address client requests effectively.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and communication channels.
• Meticulously document all contacts within our database to ensure accurate records.
• Stay informed about FHA mortgage processes and procedures to provide accurate information to clients.

• Adept at navigating multiple computer systems and applications, utilizing search tools for client information retrieval.
• Exemplary time management skills coupled with a dependable work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• At least two years of experience in FHA loans (such as loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, or loan officer) along with a minimum of one year in customer service or contact center roles; alternatively, three years of loan origination experience with conventional or other government-backed loans (e.g., FHA, USDA, VA).
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation.

• Experience in a contact center environment (multichannel).
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge and experience with FHA processes.
