The Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) brings over 50 years of expertise in managing multi-asset portfolios and delivers customized, cross-asset class solutions tailored to institutional and retail clients.
Job SummaryAs an Investment Specialist in the Asset Management Multi-Asset Solutions team, you will support the US Advisory Models business through a blend of client‑facing, analytical, and reporting work. You will engage in capital markets, asset allocation, and content creation in a fast‑paced environment, requiring clear communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Present market and investment insights covering macroeconomic trends, tactical asset allocation, and diversification strategies, articulating model portfolio views to internal sales partners and external clients.
- Serve as coverage contact for the investment specialist team, managing client reporting, fielding inquiries, and resolving issues for the MAS retail business with a focus on Model Portfolios.
- Respond independently to ad‑hoc data requests and reporting needs.
- Coordinate with Sales, Global Strategic Relationships, and RFP teams to address client requirements using product expertise.
- Represent the Investment Solutions team on various ad‑hoc projects and ensure consistent delivery of accurate information to clients and internal teams.
- Create high‑quality written content on products and markets for client communications.
- Analyze client portfolios (returns, risk, performance attribution, etc.) and prepare portfolio proposals and presentations for review meetings.
- Communicate key selling points of products and market trends to stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to train advisors on market talking points, product knowledge, and implementation strategies.
- Knowledge of investment design and portfolio construction; strong market acumen.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, flexibility, and teamwork across various teams.
- 3+ years of experience in the financial industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Ability to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner under tight deadlines.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to question the status quo.
- Series 7, Series 63, and SIE licenses required.
- Interest in pursuing a CFA; possible sponsorship after one year.
- Prior experience in finance or related fields.
