Job DescriptionBWC’s core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on‑site at one of BWC’s seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex‑time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex‑time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Under direction of Investment Accounting Supervisor evaluates and coordinates outside investment manager trade communication with the custodial bank and master record keeper.
- Reviews daily investment manager bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness and works with outside parties to resolve reconciling items.
- Designs and prepares ad dit financial investment accounting reports and conducts special projects.
- Monitors investment portfolio to ensure compliance with BWC’s Investment Policy and the contract the investment manager was hired to manage.
- Maintains professional working relationships, works within defined production schedule, utilizes strong critical‑thinking skills to manage time efficiently, prioritizes tasks, resolves issues, and develops well‑supported conclusions.

- 42 months experience or 42 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or completion of an undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 months experience or 18 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or completion of a graduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 6 months experience or 6 months training in accounting and/or finance to include an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software.
- Or 12 months experience as Financial Analyst, 66562.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
