We're partnered with a well established, growing investment banking firm in Columbus on a search for an Investment Banking Associate. This boutique firm specializes in middle market M&A, ESOP advisory, and ownership transition strategy, working with business owners across a range of industries on complex, high stakes transactions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real deal exposure and a direct path to growth, without the burnout culture of a bulge bracket shop.

• Support all phases of the deal lifecycle, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence
• Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis)
• Prepare offering memorandums, management presentations, and other deal materials
• Conduct industry and company research to support deal strategy
• Collaborate directly with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction process
• Assist with ESOP feasibility studies and 1042 transaction structuring

• 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, or related financial analysis role
• Some tie to Columbus, OH (must have)
• Experience communicating externally with clients
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple deal timelines
• Self starter who thrives in a fast paced, deal driven environment
