Description and Requirements
General Description:
Entry-level role in the Benefit Administration team. Responsible for providing administration and analytical support to senior team members. Gain understanding of the design, operations, and regulations governing defined benefit plans.
- Process and manage pension requests. Includes first calculation/paperwork for active plans, data inquiries, and updates.
- Reconcile participant data changes and year end reporting.
- Work directly with clients and respond to participant questions.
- Analyze calculation breakpoints. Includes identification and testing.
- Create or run participant data reports. Analyze and manipulate data files.
- Review and approve payments to participants.
- Meet the company’s CRM case efficiency and accuracy metrics.
- Participate in an out-of-scope project. Includes Plan Termination, TV Buyout, and new client implementation.
- Conduct work with a high level of quality and efficiency.
Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, finance, or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pension plans.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and understand large data sets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and systematic thinking skills. Includes ability to breakdown calculations specific to client plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Annual salary range is $45,000 - $50,000, plus potential compensation incentives.
