What You'll Do as a Financial Analyst Supervisor
  • Manage assigned areas of responsibility; enforce section policies and procedures
  • Establish priorities and supervise subordinate personnel
  • Oversee daily work activities by assigning and reviewing work; ensure subordinates are trained to maintain acceptable performance
  • Conduct staff meetings and communicate information concerning operations
  • Maintain reports concerning section activities and related program reports

Qualifications

Option 1

  • 54 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance, including an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software

Option 2

  • Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field; AND 30 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance, including an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software

Option 3

  • Completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance, or related field; AND 18 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance, including an advanced level of experience in spreadsheet software

Option 4

  • 12 months of experience as Senior Financial Analyst (role 66563) or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above

NOTE:

Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may substitute for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this section of the minimum qualifications.
