Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial deal team in their pursuit of customer acquisition
• Financial activities including reviewing and interpreting financial reporting proposals
• Preparing analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro‑forma financial data
• Developing comprehensive financial data reports for both internal and external customers
• Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities
• Compiling, organizing and formatting data for reporting
• Supporting regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing regulatory schedules
• Analyzing and improving existing processes to maximize opportunities for efficiency

• Four‑year degree in a business discipline
• 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or a related field
• Knowledge of PC applications
• Understanding basics of finance and accounting, including the relationships between segments of the financial statements
• Originating action to improve existing conditions and processes
• Analyze information from a variety of sources to detect trends, associations, cause‑effect relationships and other anomalies
• Effectively manage time to ensure deadlines are met and quality is achieved
• Pursue opportunities to network with different parts of finance as well as other parts of NI
• Produce processes, tasks, and work products to ensure freedom from errors, omissions, or defects
