We are looking for an FP&A Manage
r to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic finance professional to play a key role in driving business performance through insightful analysis and forecasting, working onsite in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision‑making
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analyses
- Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets
- Support M&A analysis, capital planning, and investment evaluation as needed
- Present financial results and forecasts to senior management in a clear, concise manner
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within FP&A functions
- Manage and mentor FP&A analysts, providing guidance and professional development support
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial planning tools and systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and Executive teams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related field
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a team
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with FP&A/BI tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
