Position Summary:
The Retail Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to retail banking clients and employees, including the Universal Banker and Branch Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- The Retail Support Specialist creates new account profiles, performs account maintenance, including wire input and support for business banking clients
- Review of new accounts and transactions for discrepancies
- Pulls reports specified and required by managers including New Account reports
- Conducts GL Balancing activities
- Supports Digital Online Banking and Debit Card maintenance, coordinates customer service requests, and ensures timely follow-up and resolution
- Upload documents to internal systems (ECM)
- Compliance reporting and document research
- With proper training and experience, open new accounts, and may perform Universal Banker customer facing transactions
- Adheres to all bank established policies, procedures, and overall banking regulations.
- Leads and encourages a positive working environment with a can-do attitude which fosters our Mission, Vision, Shared and Guiding Principles.
- Stays up to date on banks’ depository products accounts and online services.
- Maintain comprehensive and up to date knowledge of banking regulations related to assigned job function.
- Complete required compliance and job specific training.
- Familiarity and adherence of all Bank Secrecy Act requirements including the ability to identify and properly report fraudulent and suspicious loan activity.
- Complete and/or ensure all audit and security policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Bank policy and Federal Regulation.
- Actively participate in branch meetings, individual and group coaching/training sessions.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all applicable bank policies and procedures.
- Work independently and exercise good judgement while keeping the bank’s financial interest in mind.
- Actively participate in bank functions and community activities as a representative of the bank.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
