Investment Banking Associate

Investment Banking Associate | Columbus, OH

We're partnering with a growing boutique investment bank in Columbus that specializes in middle market M&A and advisory work for privately held businesses. They work directly with business owners on complex, high stakes transactions, and they're adding an Associate to the team.

• You're in the room. Direct collaboration with senior bankers and clients from day one, not buried in a spreadsheet farm
• Full deal lifecycle exposure: modeling, valuation, diligence, offering memos, management presentations
• Direct mentorship from experienced deal makers and a clear growth path
• Strong compensation with a collaborative, in office Columbus culture

• Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, comps)
• Support valuation analysis and due diligence across active deals
• Prepare offering memorandums and client presentations
• Conduct industry and company research to support deal strategy

• 3 to 6 years in investment banking, transaction advisory, valuation, public accounting, or similar
• A tie to Columbus (non-negotiable)
• Strong modeling and Excel skills, plus client-facing communication experience
• Ability to juggle multiple deal timelines without dropping any
