Position Summary

The ideal candidate for this position possesses high attention to detail, strong written communication, and effective time management, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.

This position is suitable for a candidate who enjoys conducting technical research and analyzing client data behind the scenes rather than leading client relationships.

In this role, you will support the Financial Planner with data entry, meeting preparation and client follow-up. You will develop expertise in financial planning software and firm processes. We provide training and mentorship to ensure success.

This is a salaried position with no sales, commissions or gathering assets under management.

• Under the supervision of a Financial Planner, you will:
  • Gather and maintain client data
  • Prepare for client meetings and follow up on action items
  • Update and model client information in financial planning software
  • Generate financial planning reports as appropriate
  • Complete trades and money movement in client portfolios
  • Enter data in tax software
  • Answer client inquiries as appropriate
• Research financial planning topics as needed
• Assist with other projects within the firm to improve service and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of experience in the financial planning industry preferred
• Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®) or Series 65 license preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated diligent attention to detail
• A desire for customer service excellence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Schwab, Advisor Engine, eMoney, Holistiplan, Hubly, Pro Connect Tax preferred
