The Senior Compliance Specialist will identify and assess regulatory risk, provides practical guidance to business partners, and help implement compliant products, processes, and controls. The role will also ensure that standards and procedures are maintained; support risk assessments, regulatory change and issue management.

Essential Job Functions

• Guides on risk mitigation, policy implementation, and legal research. Presents risk implications to leadership.

• Conducts risk assessments and regulatory change management. Balances strategic and tactical projects.

• Ensures initiatives comply with laws. Drives risk-based solutions and educates on Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance Management System framework.

• Collaborates on solutions to mitigate regulatory risks and guides business partners on compliance.
  
  - (15%)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5-8 years experience in consumer credit, banking compliance, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent education.
• Advanced degree in law
• Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
• Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP)
• 6+ years in Consumer Credit Lending and Banking Compliance.

• Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
