Position SummaryThe Director of Finance leads the organization’s financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts. This role ensures accurate financial operations, supports strategic decision-making, and collaborates across departments to drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee financial operations, including reporting, planning, and compliance
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop forecasts and budgets in collaboration with leadership
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
- Manage and mentor finance team members
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business objectives
- Coordinate with auditors and external partners as needed
- Support cross-functional initiatives through financial analysis and guidance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience with in Property Management handling audits, compliance, and financial systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software platforms, Yardi highly preferred.
