Financial Reporting Manager

We are seeking a Financial Regulatory Reporting Manager with a large financial institution in the Columbus area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory reports and Basel capital ratio calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory capital reporting, providing guidance on interpretations, assumptions, and impacts of new business initiatives.
• Support key regulatory initiatives, including Basel rule implementation and Large Financial Institution (LFI) readiness efforts such as Y-14, Y-15, and FFIEC reporting.
• Monitor regulatory and accounting developments, assess their impact on the organization, and drive implementation of necessary reporting and control changes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, auditors, regulators, and executive leadership to support examinations, audits, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc reporting needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Banking experience - Large Financial Institution preferred
• Strong regulatory reporting knowledge and experience
• Experience with Basel rules and calculation of capital ratios
• CPA preferred
