What You'll Do- Assists in the preparation of Medicaid Cost Reports
- Works with the Department of Medicaid to calculate interim rates
- Incorporates audit adjustments into the cost report, calculates final rates
- Assist with developmental center cost report settlements,
- Works with Department of Medicaid to negotiate final settlement
- Uses Medicaid Information Technology System (MITS) to pull monthly remittance advices
- Use the Excel work sheet to submit Medicaid claims to MITS to be processed for payment
- Assists supervisor in review and analysis of fiscal records
- Provides technical assistance in the use of Quick Books with developmental center internal funds/accounts
- Assists in preparation and analysis of revenue and expenditure tracking for developmental center internal accounts
- Assists in preparation & submission of required state and/or federal fiscal reports
- Establish deliverables
- Reconcile Quick Books balance to old ledgers (DCIMS/Excel),
- Prepare Bank reconciliation reports for various accounts between Quick Books and Bank Statements
- Uses Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) Business Intelligence reporting tools to generate & Balance reports (e.g., voucher detail, general ledger, encumbrance balance, revenue/cash balance, etc.)
- Uses Excel functions (e.g., logical lookup & reference, statistical & math functions) to create reports, track & forecast expenditures, revenue & cash.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
