FX Operations Analyst

FX Operations Analyst 2 Position Overview

The FX Operations Analyst 2 provides daily operational support for foreign exchange transactions, including trade confirmation, settlement, payments, reconciliations, and issue resolution. This role works closely with trading, relationship management, clients, and other operations teams to ensure FX transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in banking or financial operations
, with knowledge of foreign exchange, international payments, reconciliations, and compliance processes.

• Process and support incoming and outgoing foreign currency payments and FX settlements across multiple currencies and platforms.
• Verify and confirm FX trades and ensure transactions are settled accurately and within required deadlines.
• Perform daily reconciliations
  , investigate discrepancies, and resolve trade, payment, and settlement exceptions.
• Monitor payment flows and investigate issues including payment delays, trade mismatches, and compliance alerts.
• Maintain accurate transaction records using systems such as Wall Street, MTS, and SWIFT gpi

• Partner with front-office traders, relationship managers, operations teams, and clients to resolve transaction-related issues.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding FX transactions and payment status.
• Support compliance requirements, including AML/BSA and OFAC processes.
• Participate in process improvement, system upgrades, and automation initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in financial or banking operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience with FX operations, payments, settlements, or reconciliations
  .
• Knowledge of FX products, including spot, forwards, swaps, and options.
• Familiarity with Wall Street System, MTS, SWIFT, and global payment processes
  .
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, including MT103, MT202, and MT300.
• Understanding of funds movement controls and AML/BSA and OFAC requirements
  .
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling high-value financial transactions.
