Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Columbus, OH that is seeking an AML Compliance Analyst that supports the identification, investigation, and prevention of potential money laundering and financial crime. This role reviews customer and transaction activity, identifies unusual patterns, conducts research, documents findings, and escalates potential risks in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Review customer accounts and transactions for unusual or potentially suspicious activity
- Analyze transaction patterns, customer information, and supporting documentation to identify potential risks
- Conduct research and gather information to support investigations
- Document investigative findings, analysis, and conclusions clearly and accurately
- Escalate potentially suspicious activity in accordance with established procedures
- Perform customer due diligence and support KYC and AML compliance requirements
- Review alerts and cases and determine appropriate next steps based on available information
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records and documentation
- Work with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and other internal teams to resolve questions and investigate potential issues
- Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround-time expectations
- Stay current on AML policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Identify trends, process gaps, or recurring issues and communicate them to management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or unusual activity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information and make sound, evidence-based decisions
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases or priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other
- Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

- Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
- Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
- Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
