This position serves as a key partner within Consolidation Accounting and Enterprise Close Management, with responsibility for coordinating critical close & financial reporting activities, advising business partners on complex transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of GAAP and STAT financial consolidations across more than 150 legal entities. The role also facilitates quarter-end close briefings, providing Controllership leaders with visibility into key topics.

This position offers significant opportunity to lead process improvements and advance technology-enabled efficiencies. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively across functions and influence partners at multiple levels. In addition, the role will provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to two associates.

This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program. This is a hybrid position located in Columbus Ohio and you will be required to come into the office as needed.
