Location:

Hours of office:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.;
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Welcome and room patients: height, weight, and vitals
- Review medical history, chief complaints, and gather other information
- Referral and prior authorization
- Answer in basket messages, patient follow‑up calls, and messages
- Use EPIC
- Education:
High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years medical experience OR Graduate (Bachelors or Associate’s) in science/health degree. Preferred:
Graduation/completion of a medical assistant program, Medical Assistant Certification or Registration, or completion of EMT, EMT‑P, or Military Medical Corpsman training. - Licensure / Certification:
Nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred. - Experience:
One to two years medical assisting experience preferred. If required education is not met, two to three years of previous medical office experience is required. - Current BLS/CPR certification, and must maintain current certification.
