MA, Medical Assistant role at Trinity Health (Mount Carmel Medical Group East, Columbus, OH). Specialty:

Hours:

4 ten-hour shifts per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Welcome and room patients; record height, weight, and vitals
• Review medical history and chief complaints and gather related information
• Perform blood draws, injections, and EKGs
• Answer in-basket messages, patient follow-up calls and messages
• Use EPIC systems

• Education:
  
  High school Diploma or GED with 1–2 years medical experience OR a graduate of a Bachelors or Associates in science/health; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
• Licensure/Certification:
  Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years medical assisting preferred; or 2–3 years of previous medical office experience in lieu of required education
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or maintained
