Job Overview

The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Scope/Position Summary
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging exams and providing patient education. The ideal candidate will have:

• Current Radiography license, ARRT (R)
• Advanced registry in MRI preferred
• Current Radiography ODH license required or MR only Certified ARRT (MR)
• Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred

Ongoing Requirements:
Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
