The Physician Charge Review Liaison position will reconcile physician procedural charges on a monthly basis for the prior month, analytical review and other duties as assigned to support the clinic. The position will review assigned CPT’s based on the documentation and work with the certified coder in Patient Financial Services if there are questions regarding assignment. During this review period, daily status updates will be provided to the onsite supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
The Physician Charge Review Liaison position is designed to be a point of contact for patients both inside and outside the clinic setting. The incumbent is responsible to further the mission of Enloe Medical Center. The incumbent is responsible to consistently demonstrate the core values of Enloe Medical Center. The incumbent is responsible to perform their duties in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements and the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
Compensation range: $21.28 - $28.73

Minimum
:
- One year physician office experience with procedural coding and documentation review.
- One year experience working in a medical office environment performing duties to include insurance verification, data entry, typing, customer relations and filing.
- Six months experience working in a medical office or clinic setting performing general clerical duties to include data entry, typing, customer relations and filing.
Must have excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of rapport with patients, co-workers, physicians and others involved in the charging process. Must be able to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general office equipment for support functions.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must show sensitivity for the patient and family and maintain strict confidentiality.
