What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Supervise daily workflow of the Accounts Receivable department, identifying trends in denied payments and unpaid claims
  • Conduct team huddles to address new training focuses and share insights on claims resolution
  • Ensure adherence to departmental budget and prepare monthly performance reports
  • Monitor team productivity and quality standards, providing feedback and conducting monthly performance reviews
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments to maintain positive relationships and achieve revenue cycle goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, AR follow-up, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of claims review and revenue cycle processes
  • Experience with Medicare DDE system and payer websites for claim status inquiries
  • Understanding of medical terminology and insurance claims terminology
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Certification in CRCR or another relevant job-related certification within 9 months of hire
  • Previous experience in physician/hospital operations or compliance
  • Familiarity with denial management and appeals processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
