Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist in our Skilled Care Facility, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in our residents. Your work will contribute to their overall well-being, ensuring they can communicate effectively, maintain their independence, and enjoy an improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide therapy and interventions to address speech and language difficulties.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
  • Educate and support residents and their families regarding treatment plans and strategies.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in OH.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred for this location.
  • Experience in a skilled care or long‑term care setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
