Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of vascular IR experience, including EVAR, for a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital in Ohio.
Responsibilities- Inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology unit within a Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital
- Work in a state-of-the-art Hybrid OR Suite specializing in advanced vascular interventions
- Procedures include IR angiography, vascular stents, angioplasty, thrombolysis, thrombectomy, dialysis graft interventions, carotid angiography, embolization, vertebroplasty, discogram, mesenteric angiogram, liver biopsy, gastrostomy tube placement, TIPS, chest tube placement, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Primary equipment includes GE Innova IGS (preferred) and PACS systems
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call requirements (minimum 125 hours/month)
- Floating to other units within the organization may be required
- Perform a broad range of interventional radiology and angiography procedures across vascular, neurovascular, and abdominal/pelvic specialties
- Responsible for PACS operation and maintenance
- Previous employees returning to this facility do not require a 30-day break between assignments when changing representation (except Sterile Processing Technologists)
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology
- EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair) experience required
- ARRT (R) and BLS required; ACLS and ARRT (VI) preferred
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital preferred
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy, C-arm procedures, and PACS systems
- GE Innova IGS experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
