Travel Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Job – Oncology Pod ED | Columbus, OH 43210

Travel ER RN opportunity in Columbus, Ohio (43210) in an Emergency Department (ED) Oncology Pod. This role includes 12-hour day/night rotating shifts as scheduled and floating as needed based on department priorities and staffing requirements.

This on-site travel nursing contract is located in Columbus, OH 43210—home to a vibrant food scene, diverse neighborhoods, and easy access to parks and trails—making it a strong Central Ohio destination for travel nurses looking for a rewarding assignment and a great place to spend their off time.

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,720–$1,820/week

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Central Ohio healthcare)
• Employment Type: Travel RN (On-Site)

• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
• Scheduling Note: This is a day/night rotating-only contract. Shifts may include nights or a mix of days and nights based on department priorities and will be assessed each 4-week scheduling period.

• Unit: Emergency Department (ED) – Oncology Pod
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: Epic EMR (Epic experience required)

• Experience: Must meet the facility’s experience requirements within the 3 most recent years, including a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required and at least 1 year of CURRENT ED specialty experience for clinical consideration
• Travel Experience: Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience required
• License: Active RN license (compact or Ohio) in hand at time of submission
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• EMR Requirement: Epic experience required
• Clinical Skills: Strong IV start skills; telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Preferred: Oncology nursing experience (not required)
• References: Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leader)
• Time Off: Request time off must be submitted with the application

• Provide rapid assessment and triage for ED patients in the following age groups:
  Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics
• Deliver emergency nursing care within the Emergency Department (ED) – Oncology Pod
• Initiate and manage IV access as needed
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias as applicable to the assignment
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to coordinate timely patient care
• Float as needed based on department priorities and staffing requirements
