- Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
- Setting: Oncology Pod – Emergency Department
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
- End Date: July 6, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30), 3 shifts/week
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Floating: Required as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,720 - $1,820 per week
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience (ED RN jobs)
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Oncology nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Graduate of ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license)
- Certifications:
BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS - Two professional references (one from leadership)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signing
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to oncology, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform IV starts and manage central lines
- Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products and IV vasopressors
- Provide care for ventilated patients (BiPAP/CPAP management)
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Triage patients and respond to emergencies efficiently
- Float to other units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, social services)
