LHH is seeking a dedicated and proactive EHS Specialist to join a leading manufacturing organization! This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing health and safety programs to ensure a safe workplace for all employees.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with management and teams to promote safe work practices and foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor and analyze health and safety performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in health and safety regulations.
  • Lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness for any incidents.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certification (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful safety programs and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards related to health and safety.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance workplace safety.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to achieving safety excellence and fostering a culture of accountability.
