This role uses data analytics and market insights to drive efficiency and value across the pharmacy supply chain, ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining regulatory and contractual compliance.
Position SummaryThe Senior Sourcing Analyst is responsible for managing pharmaceutical sourcing strategies and conducting financial value analysis to optimize cost and utilization across OSU Physicians (OSUP) entities. This position develops and maintains relationships with clinicians, pharmacy staff, and suppliers to ensure effective pricing, distribution, and utilization of pharmaceutical products. The analyst leverages advanced data tools to monitor spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
A broad knowledge of all pharmaceutical products and services, including suppliers and product offerings, is required. Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written) are essential to effectively interact with internal supply chain stakeholders and external vendors.
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
- 4 years of relevant experience required
- 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
