Travel Oncology RN opportunity in Columbus, OH — Medical-Surgical Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant. Epic charting experience and an active RN license required. Join a rewarding travel nursing assignment treating complex hematology-oncology patients.
Job Details- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2160-$2270/week

- Position: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) RN — Travel
- Setting: Mixed acuity PCU and Medical-Surgical Oncology Unit (Bone Marrow Transplant focus)
- Contract Type: Travel
- Start Date: April 6, 2026
- End Date: July 27, 2026
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Shifts: 3x12-hour shifts per week;
Days (07:00-19:30), Nights (19:00-07:30), or Rotating - Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Unit Size: 36 beds, daily census ~33
- Charting System: Epic (Epic experience required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical and Oncology RN experience (within the last 3 years)
- Hematology-oncology experience strongly preferred;
Bone Marrow Transplant / BMT experience a plus - Active RN license (compact license accepted or Ohio state license required at submission)
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Epic charting experience required
- Ability to float to other Med Surg Oncology units as needed
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology and bone marrow transplant patients with diagnoses such as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other hematologic malignancies
- Administer chemotherapy and blood products safely, manage central and peripheral lines, and provide feeding tube care
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, respond to rapid response situations, and recognize and communicate abnormal lab values
- Participate in infection prevention protocols, neutropenic precautions, and patient safety initiatives
- Support special procedures including autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
- Document care accurately using Epic and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Float to other Med Surg Oncology units as required
