Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
Description:
Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) scrub required.
1st time travelers accepted.
Locals accepted.
Shift will be PM weekends from 1830 to 0700 with call required.
Must be flexible.
Required skills include general OR thoracic vascular CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.).
Aseptic technique proficiency is necessary.
Candidates must be familiar with crash cart procedures, scrubbing, and circulating.
Equipment documentation and charting experience is required, ideally with EPIC.
Candidates will handle special procedures involving angioplasties, aortic aneurysm repair, and various cardiac surgeries.
Other expectations include fire safety protocols, care of scopes and fiber optic equipment, and handling specimens.
Universal protocol adherence and operating high-level disinfectants are also crucial.
All candidates must be aware of the urgency in processing fingerprints for credentialing.
There is a strict compliance deadline for credentialing prior to the start date.
References must include at least one manager or director-level individual.
Candidates must have relevant certifications and experience to qualify for this position.
