Travel Night Shift ER RN opportunity in Columbus, OH — Immediate Care Center specializing in oncology, hematology, and sickle cell care. Join a collaborative team and use your ER, acute care, and EPIC charting experience to make an impact.

- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) — night shift ER nurse
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Unit Size: 14 beds
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float between ICC and ED units as needed
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (within the last 3 years) — ER RN, emergency nurse required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Experience with EPIC charting system required (EPIC experience for RNs)
- Active RN license (compact license or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission)
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Required certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NIHSS
- Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or supervisor)
- Must be able to complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the Immediate Care Center, with emphasis on oncology, hematology, and sickle cell populations
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with urgent and non-urgent conditions, including sickle cell crisis, fever, pain, anemia, dehydration, and related emergencies
- Administer emergency medications, manage IVs, central lines, and blood products
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and obtain/interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG
- Utilize isolation precautions/PPE and follow infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including APPs, physicians, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, and social services
- Float between ICC and Emergency Department as needed to support patient care
- Document care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system
- Participate in unit-based initiatives and contribute to a supportive team environment
