Trauma and Burn Program Management Coordinator 2
Inside Higher Ed is seeking a full‑time Disaster and Burn Program Management Coordinator 2 to work in Columbus at East Hospital – Main (0398) under the University Hospital Trauma Program.
This role works closely with the Trauma and Burn Registry team, Trauma and Burn PI Coordinator, Trauma Data Manager and Trauma and Burn Program Managers. The registrar is responsible for the collection, entry, maintenance, and reporting of data for the level‑one Trauma Center and the Verified Burn Center as required by regulatory agencies. Using analytical, cognitive and leadership skills, the registrar will utilize data for injury research, epidemiology, prevention initiatives and performance improvement.
Data are obtained from EPIC/IHIS medical records and other identified sources. The registrar codes and enters data into the computerized trauma and burn registries while maintaining confidentiality. High‑quality data entry is essential. The position requires willingness to travel several times a year for educational events on skill development and maintenance. The program will provide education on all registries including TQIP, BQIP and ICD‑10 software platforms.
- High school diploma or GED required; certification or vocational training preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience required; 2–4 years preferred.
