What You Will Do at ODM:
- Supervise and direct the work activities (e.g., Notice of Operational Deficiencies, Plan of Corrections, Proposed Adjudication Orders, quality reviews, etc.) of the Provider Oversight staff.
- Manage staff timekeeping and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the ODM Provider Oversight Contractor on waiver provider oversight activities.
- Attend meetings and provide input as the waiver provider oversight subject matter expert.
- Research and evaluate waiver provider oversight policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Respond to complex waiver provider oversight inquiries from providers, members, internal teams, and sister state agencies.

Qualifications- Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance, and 12 months experience in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management.
- Or 12 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist (DM 65293), which may be substituted for the experience required but not for the mandated licensure.
- If the position oversees assessment or reassessment of clinical appropriateness of services or payment policies related to Medicaid health services delivery, incumbent must also have a current & valid license as a registered nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure.
