Billing Coordinator

• Ensure billing exception process memos are reviewed and completed accurately
• Conduct follow-ups to close memos by the due date
• Take corrective action on deferred accounts to ensure completion per tariff timelines
• Explain adjustments to customers and support Call Center Representatives with billing inquiries
• Monitor assigned workload and take initiative to complete additional tasks as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and deliver results within time constraints

• Advanced knowledge of commission rules and regulations regarding billing practices
• Hands‑on experience in DIS billing exception processing
• Excellent customer service skills and experience
• Understanding of cross-functional utility operations, including meter to cash and call centers
• Solid working knowledge of Gas Measurement Billing for processing charts and volumes
