About the Position
Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN (Oncology Pod) – Ohio

Schedule:
12-hour shifts, Day/Night rotation or Nights (floating required); 14-week contract
Highlights:
Specialized Oncology Pod within a high-acuity Emergency Department setting – one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care units in the country
Patient ratio of 1:4 with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
15 rooms, 19 beds serving adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric cancer patients with urgent and complex needs
Shift assignments assessed every 4-week scheduling period; up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at facility discretion
76 hours of orientation provided to ensure smooth transition
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
1 year of travel nursing experience required (must be within the most recent 3 years with at least 1 year current specialty experience)
EPIC charting experience required
Oncology experience preferred but not required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Two professional references required (at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
Must be available for urgent Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signing
