About the Position
Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; weekdays and some weekends with rotating holidays; on-call required
Highlights:
Estimated patient ratio of 1:3 in a progressive care unit specializing in cardiac care and diverse diagnoses
Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
Exposure to advanced patient populations including chronic ventilated patients and post-lung transplant care
36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful transition
Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Epic charting system experience required
Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of application
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Previous travel experience preferred
Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal supervisor
