About the Position
Job Opportunity – Progressive Care/Medical-Surgical RN – Ohio

Schedule:
3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week; every other weekend required; float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Highlights:
24-bed unit with 9 Progressive Care beds and 15 Medical-Surgical beds
Cardiac stepdown experience with telemetry monitoring and IV insulin drip management
Patient ratios of 1:3–5 for optimal care delivery
Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
24 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful transition
Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate care skills
Experience with cardiac patients and IV insulin drip management strongly preferred
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Two professional references required (at least one from a formal leadership position)
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
