Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule:

3x12-hour shifts, night shift, every other weekend; no on-call required
Highlights:
Cardiac Medical ICU specializing in acute MI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and post-interventional cardiac procedures
Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 with a 30-bed unit and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
Advanced equipment experience including IABP, Impella, CRRT, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
Epic charting system with 36 hours of orientation provided
Float opportunities within a large academic health system for diverse clinical exposure
Travel-friendly position with local candidates accepted at the same rate
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
Epic experience is required
Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
Competencies with cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, arterial lines, and central line management
Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
Willingness to complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting process upon contract signing
