Scope of PositionResponsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of the Information and Technology (IT) service and support functions for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC).
Position SummaryThe Director of Health System Informatics oversees the planning and day-to-day operations of the Clinical Applications for the department and is responsible for the provision of direct services and support to users of Clinical Applications. Develops and implements HSI policies and procedures and forecasts the financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives and improve performance. Reviews appropriate quality control programs and metrics and develops in-service training and continuing education programs for all staff in the area of responsibility.
Oversees the selection and utilization of outside services and manages vendor relationships for related technologies. Responsible for the overall budget development, budget performance, and financial compliance with appropriate business practices.
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
