About the Position
Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Oncology Pod – Ohio

Schedule:
Day/Night or Night shifts (rotating 12-hour shifts);
Float required as needed
Highlights:
Specialized Oncology Pod within a high-acuity Emergency Department – one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care settings in the country
Patient ratio of 1:4 with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
EPIC charting system used exclusively
14-bed specialized unit with 15 rooms serving adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
76 hours of comprehensive orientation provided
Request Time Off (RTO) may be granted at facility discretion – 7 consecutive days possible for 14-week contracts
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
1 year of travel nursing experience required
EPIC charting experience required
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of application)
Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Oncology experience preferred but not required
Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
