American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Interventional Radiology (VIR) Technologist with 2+ years of experience to work in a hospital OR/IR setting in Columbus, OH, with call and weekend requirements.

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department with 2 endovascular suites and open procedure ORs
• Average of 20 patients per day with a 2:1 RT:
  
  RN ratio
• Common procedures include abdominal aortograms with runoff, fistula grams, carotid angios, and EVARs
• Equipment includes fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, Philips Epiq 7G, Parks Flo-Lab 2100SX, and C-arm
• Charting via Epic/Care Connect EMR (Pen Vasc reporting software also used)
• 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• Call and weekend expectation of approximately 1/4 of total call rotation, including weekends
• Every other holiday required

• Minimum of 2 years of VIR/IR experience required; candidates with 1+ year may be considered if they have Level I or Level II trauma experience
• HS diploma or GED required; graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Current ARRT certification or equivalent required
• Ohio Department of Health radiologic license required if applicable (pending status accepted; typically obtained within 24–48 hours)
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, and ultrasound
• Competency in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating roles for image‑guided vascular procedures
• Epic/Care Connect EMR experience

• Assist the Interventional Radiologist in minimally invasive, image‑guided vascular procedures in scrub, monitoring, and circulating roles
• Surgical scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be approved for the duration of the contract
• 13‑week contract
