The Respiratory Assistant I functions in administering and performing respiratory therapy floor care under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.

• Clean respiratory equipment and prepare it for use by Respiratory Therapists
• Check for expired medications and supplies
• Assemble airway boxes and carts
• Stock supplies in respiratory department and on nursing units

• Education:
  
  Enrolled in, and in good standing in a formal respiratory care educational program.
• Licensure / Certification: N/A
• Maintain current BLS certification
