James Medical Oncology - D/N or Nights

AYA oncology experience preferred but not required! Staffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5. Weekends - variable based on unit needs. No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff. If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period.

Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule. First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor. 2 Years of experience required.

Adults, Geriatrics. Patient diagnoses:
The most common diagnoses include all subtypes of the following:
Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Colon Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy. Special procedures/unit details: 17 James cares for all solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.
