Overview

Screen patient medical records for nutritional risk factors and assessment needs, obtain clinical information, and provide nutritional care, basic dietary instructions, and general nutrition education.

• Assess nutritional needs of patients by reviewing medical records and conducting interviews.
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition care plans as needed.
• Provide nutrition education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Associate's Degree in Nutrition from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) approved program, required.

• Dietitian Technician Registered (DTR) or Registration Eligible with completion of exam within 3 months of hire, required.

• Highly proficient technical skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in various organizational systems.

• Experience as a dietetic technician, preferred.
• Clinical pediatric experience, preferred.
