Entry Level Plasma Center Technician

Job Description

Bio Life is seeking a part‑time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support our plasma donation center operations. The role requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality patient care.

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety and experience.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift up to 32 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (minimum 1 year) is helpful.
• Knowledge of blood borne pathogen safety; ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods.

Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00
